Weberwood Principal Steps Down

Weberwood Elementary School Principal Barry Bowe announced Tuesday he will take a job as principal at a performing arts school in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Bowe also served as principal at Chandler Elementary and was an administrator at Flinn and Belle Elementary Schools.

Sherrie Davis will serve as interim principal and will work alongside Bowe for the next two weeks.

School officials expect the job vacancy to be posted in the coming days.
