911 dispatchers in Cabell County were forced to use a back up system when their phones failed...
For 10 minutes, they could not receive any calls.
The center quickly re-routed calls to its backup facility.
They didnt know it at the time, but the problem was due to a circuit issue with verizon phone service.
Workers say it could have been much worse.
After two and a half hours, the main phone line was fixed... And everything is once again running smoothly.
