Michael O'Daniel will never get his driver's license, graduate high school or get married.
The teenager died on Campbells Creek Road Wednesday evening while riding his ATV.
Colby Schoolcraft, Michael's friend, "I never would have thought, he was too good a rider to die on an atv."
Colby Schoolcraft has been friends with Michael since 4th grade.
He says Michael was an avid rider.
Colby Schoolcraft, "Riding 4-wheelers is just about an everyday thing for us."
Pieces of Michael O'Daniel's ATV still scatter the side of the road where he died.
Friends say they all had been warned not to ride on the main road because it's too dangerous.
Colby Schoolcraft, "It's dangerous just going to fast cars can hit you anytime."
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies say Michael rode his atv out in front of a coal truck.
They say he wasn't wearing a helmet and was probably driving too fast.
Friends say it just wont be the same without Michael, who was so full of life.
Colby Schoolcraft, "It will be quieter at school and around here."
Michael would have been a sophomore at Riverside High School this fall.
