A car traveling South has plowed into the rear of a tractor trailer hauling concrete blocks.
The accident is right at the Charleston City limits near the 96 mile marker.
21-year old Michael Smith of Charleston was driving the car.
He's being rushed to the hospital. but emergency workers say his injuries didn't appear to be life-threatening.
Deputies say the truck was traveling slowly because of traffic and Smith was unable to stop before crashing into it.
Traffic is down to one lane and is backed up for several miles.
