He has a unique way of taking a bite out of crime, literally. Deputy Lizard is the one and only drug sniffing Pit Bull working with police in West Virginia.
Lizard was retired from drug work with the border patrol and customs, when he was asked to join the Webster County force.
The 8-year-old crime stopping dog is credited with bagging about $150, 000 in dope.
Not only is he one of the few and the brave, he is also a loyal partner to his handler Jack Cutlip.
Cutlip says beware if you have drug his trusty friend will find them.
Deputy Cutlip says he's thankful that public donations have helped the small county be able afford to keep the dog on road patrol.
