Dispatchers say a man has shot one of his in-laws in the Martin's Branch area of Sissonville.
Police have detained the shooter and the victim is being treated at CAMC General Hospital.
There is no word on the victim's identity or condition.
The incident happened around 10:45 p.m.
Authorities say drugs could be involved.
