Loved ones and friends bid a tearful goodbye to Specialist Jeremy Gullett in Greenup county, Kentucky.
Family, friends and perfect strangers showed their appreciation for the hometown hero. Lisa Nichols remembers the 22 year old as a kind, generous man who would have done anything for anyone.
Firefighters draped An american flag archway over Route 23. Flags flew at half-staff and even more flags lined the highway to pay tribute to the fallen soldier.
Gullett is the 69th Kentucky soldier to be killed in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
