Rising gas prices have forced some student commuters to reconsider their driving habits. Some Marshall students often drive over a 100 miles a day, five days a week to get to school, and with current gas prices going through the roof, the university says they may have a solution.
The school is proposing that students live on campus to help put some money back in their wallets. Jean Gilman, Director of Recruitment for Marshall University, says the school has seen increased interest in residence halls lately, and with students only paying $5,000 a year for dorm living they could actually save money in the long run.
To weight out your options for living on campus you can contact Jean Gilman at 304-696-3565.
