Megan Thomas and Kathryn Turley are working on the skills they have learned during their first year of medical school at Marshall, and this summer they will put them to use thousands of miles away. The girls are just two of almost 20 students who will travel to Honduras in July as part of global medical brigades. The students will help treat nearly 1500 impoverished villagers.
In order to give proper care, the students need the necessary supplies. A handful of local hospitals and clinics have already donated hundreds of medicines, but basic every day items are still needed. If you would like to help the Marshall students you can email them at marshallgmb@ gmail.com or by calling 304-360-1384.
