Health inspectors discovered five critical and 14 non-critical violations upon a recent visit to the Dairy Queen in Montgomery. Inspectors found cigarettes by the fudge. They also spotted a fountain drink nozzle, french fry and mixer area. The Montgomery Dairy Queen received a fair rating.

Roadrunners Grill in Nitro got two critical and five non-critical violations. Inspectors said sliced meat and cheeses weren't date marked properly. The area under the cutting board could also use some cleaning. The Nitro restaurant landed an excellent rating.

Cam's Ham in Huntington was selected as this week's Clean Kitchen Award recipient.

"We can slice 50 to maybe 150 pounds of onions a day and everything's fresh," Shari Grubbs, owner of Cam's Ham, said.

The First Avenue restaurant has been serving it's popular onion rings and ham sandwiches for decades. Grubbs said you can get an order of onion rings, a large sandwich and a 20 ounce drink for around $9.00.

"It is delicious," Jean Linville, a customer that has been dining at the restaurant since the 1960s, said. "It's well done you never get a burnt onion ring, and I love that."
