We are coming to you this week from the new BW3 in South Ridge. No, they don`t have any criticals-they don`t even open until Sunday. We do have one spot with some problems to tell you about in this week`s Behind the Kitchen Door.
We start out at the Bob Evans at 4001 MacCorkle in South Charleston. Inspectors found 7 violations, including 2 critical. The slicer was dirty, there was an open drink in the food prep area, there wasn`t any sanitizer in the wiping cloth bucket, the shelves in the walk-in cooler were dirty and there weren`t any towels at the handsink.
We have a bunch of places with good reports. The Shoney`s in Charleston and St. Albans, Riverside Cafe, Crumbspeckers and Bulldog`s Pub and Grill in Dunbar all did good jobs this week.
Don`t forget, you can get your first look at Behind the Kitchen Door Thursday on Eyewitness News This Morning. I`m Patrick McMurtry, I`ll see you then.
