With 72-percent of women with children over one-year old, and moms with a full-time job responsibilities, mothers spend 13 hours each day working at their job, and at home.
If that describes you, then lifestyle expert, Tara Aronson says don't get stressed out. Just organize and delegate jobs to your family. She has written articles and books on time management makeovers for overwhelmed mom's everywhere. Her first tip? Eliminate morning madness. Tara Aronson/Lifestyle Expert You can do that by preparing the night before. For example, I'll have the kids pack up their backpacks, and lay out the school clothes/uniform, and make sure all of that is ready. Then, I place those by the door. So all we have to do in the morning is grab the lunches from the refrigerator, take the backpacks and out the door we go. Tara's second tip is to conquer the clutter. Tara Aronson/Lifestyle Expert I have what I call a hopper, or basket on the kitchen counter. And that's where, and the kids know this too, everything important goes there. My keys go there, anything the kids need me to sign initial or take care of, it all goes in there. And it's the last thing I clean out every night. Another time management makeover tip to use, is the master schedule, and list chores there too. Tara Aronson/Lifestyle Expert Probably the easiest way to save time is to create a family schedule. You want to have that schedule so when it comes time to drop the kids off, and run errands, you can look at the week ahead and schedule these things in, simultaneously. Tara Aronson has been featured on various national shows, and is the author of "Simply Your Household" and "Mrs. Clean Jeans' Housekeeping with Kids".
