Woman high on heroin crashes into South Charleston Burger King, police say
SOUTH CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
A woman is in the hospital after she ran her car into a South Charleston restaurant while police said she was high on drugs.
It happened at the Burger King at Riverwalk Plaza in South Charleston at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police said it appears Donetta Morison, 36, from Hurricane lost control of her vehicle on MacCorkle Avenue, hit the guardrail in her lane, went though the lanes in the opposite direction and crashed into the restaurant.
Police said they believe Morison was high on heroin when the accident happened.
