Water main break disrupts traffic in Huntington
HUNTINGTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
A water main break has slowed traffic in Huntington and crews are working to repair the line.
It happened about 8 a.m. Tuesday near First Street and Fifth Avenue, city officials said. Crews with West Virginia American Water are working to repair the line.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
A precautionary boil water advisory was issued for the surrounding area which effects about 120 customers. Service restoration is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Tuesday.
