Veterans Night at Live on the Levee to feature country music bands

Live on the Levee salutes those who have served on the armed forces when Veterans Night is observed Friday, July 7. (Emilee Greathouse)

Friday’s Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee will give a big salute to those who have served their country in the armed forces.

Veterans Night is the theme of this edition of Charleston’s free concert when two bands will take the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park.

The music gets started about 6:30 p.m. when opening act Union Sound Treaty, a country music band based out of Morgantown, begins its set.

At about 7:45 p.m., headliner Sundy Best will ramp things up with its brand of Appalachian rock 'n roll, playing music that has hints of country and bluegrass.

Live on the Levee is a free concert series conducted every Friday throughout the summer season on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.

WCHS-TV is the exclusive media partner for Live on the Levee.
