Troopers find man, two children who were missing after rollover crash

West Virginia State Police have found a man and two children who they had been searching for following a rollover accident.

Troopers said they located Monk Taylor and two children were recovered in Roane County just before 9:20 p.m.

State police said they will ask a magistrate to charge Taylor with driving on a revoked license (DUI), not having insurance , leaving the scene of an accident and two charges of wanton endangerment. He will be arraigned in Roane County.

EMS crews checked out the two children and said they did not sustain major injuries.

During the crash, a female passenger was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to the hospital.

West Virginia State Police are searching for a man and two children following a crash in I-77 near Sissonville.

Fire crews on scene said a female passenger was ejected from a vehicle when it rolled into a ditch at the 116 mile marker on I-77 north at about 7 p.m. Saturday night.

She was transported to the hospital, but her condition has not been released at this time.

Crews said after the rollover crash the male driver grabbed two children out of the vehicle and ran from the scene.

State troopers are now searching for the man and two children. K9 units have been brought in and a helicopter is also being brought in to aid in the search.
