Dog rescued from fire at St. Albans home

Emergency crews rescued a dog while responding to a structure fire in St. Albans.

A working structure fire was reported about noon Thursday on Chestnut Street, and dispatchers said there was no injuries or entrapment. Crews now have the blaze under control.

Crews at the scene said they had to kick in a door to get inside and rescue a dog.

At this time, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
