Police arrest four at Charleston bar as part of long-term drug investigation
CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Charleston police arrested at least four people at the Park Place bar in Charleston.
Police said the arrests were part of a long-term drug investigation that has been going on for the last four months.
Those arrested were a mix of patrons and management at the bar. At the time of the arrests, more than 40 people were inside the bar.
More warrants have yet to be served. Police said they believe this bar is a focal point for crime and are hoping to eventually to get the bar shut down permanently.
The Alcohol Beverage Control Administration also will be investigating the Park Place Bar.
