Search continues for escaped Boyd County inmate
ASHLAND, KY (WCHS/WVAH) —
Officials in Kentucky are continuing to search for an inmate who escaped the Boyd County Detention Center last month.
Timothy Bates, 26, has been on the run since he and three other men escaped the Boyd County Detention Center on July 30. The three other men have been captured.
On August 3, the Boyd County Detention Center said a $500 reward was being offered for information leading to Bates’ arrest.
Bates is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds and has a receding hairline.
He is wanted in Boyd and Greenup counties in Kentucky and in Cabell County in West Virginia on drug related charges.
