One killed in three vehicle crash in Huntington

Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a three vehicle crash that left one car on its top in Huntington. (WCHS/WVAH)

One person has died after a three vehicle crash in Huntington Sunday afternoon.

Huntington Police Chief Joe Ciccarelli said one person has died after a crash at the intersection of 11th Street and Madison Avenue.

Four other people were injured.

Police are also searching for the person they said caused the crash. Ciccarelli said they ran from the scene of the crash on foot.

No names have been released at this time. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News for updates.

At least four people were taken to the hospital after a three vehicle crash in Huntington.

Crews on scene said at least one of those patients suffered life-threatening injuries after one car ended up on its top in the intersection of 11th Street and Madison Avenue.

A Huntington Yellow Cab was also involved in the crash that happened just after 2 p.m Sunday.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
