Three teachers unions said the statewide teacher strike will continue after the Senate and House could not come up with an agreement on House Bill 4145 over the weekend.

Both the Senate and House are scheduled to reconvene at 11 a.m. Monday.

West Virginia's teachers' unions said Saturday the actions by the Senate were unacceptable and said the decision to amend the bill was a "deal breaker" and said teachers will not return to school until things are settled.
