Fire marshals say homeowner intentionally set Cabell house blaze
CULLODEN, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office said a homeowner intentionally set his Cabell County home on fire that resulted in his death.
Investigators said evidence indicates the fire at the home on Pin Oak Drive in Culloden Tuesday morning was intentionally set by the 48-year-old homeowner. His name has not yet been released.
The victim was found inside the home. A neighbor reported hearing an explosion at the scene. Fire investigators determined the fire started in the attic.
Several fire departments responded to the scene. No other injuries were reported.
