Local bands No Pretty Pictures, Split Nixon to perform at Live on the Levee

No Pretty Pictures and Split Nixon, two bands from the area, will perform Friday, July 14, at Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee. (WCHS/WVAH)

Two local bands will keep the free music rolling Friday at Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee.

Charleston-based No Pretty Pictures, described as an indie, progressive, post-rock band, is the opening act and will begin its performance about 6:30 p.m. on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.

Headliner Split Nixon, a rock band from Ashland, Ky., that has toured regionally and nationally, will kick off its set about 7:45 p.m.

Live on the Levee is a free concert series conducted every Friday throughout the summer season on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.
