The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority is holding a fundraiser that will benefit two Pratt volunteer firefighters who suffered injuries in a fatal crash last month.

Pratt Volunteer Fire Department Chief Timmy Walker and firefighter Bill Hypes are continuing to recover after they were involved in a crash while responding to a triple-fatal crash on Interstate 77. Assistant Fire Chief Mike Edwards, 46, and Lt. Thomas Craigo, 40, were killed in the crash.

On Wednesday, April 11, the KCEAA will hold a hot dog sale to benefit Walker and Hypes at the authority's headquarters at 601 Brooks St. in Charleston.

Those who want to help can get two hot dogs, chips, macaroni or potato salad, a sweet treat and a drink for $8. Delivery also is available in the Charleston area.

The sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
