Kanawha deputies to conduct sobriety checkpoint near St. Albans
ST. ALBANS, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Kanawha County deputies will conduct a sobriety checkpoint Thursday, April 20, near St. Albans.
The checkpoint will be operated 7 p.m. to midnight on state Route 817, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office has “zero” tolerance when it comes to impaired driving and conducts random checkpoints and targeted patrols to combat the problem.
The checkpoint on Thursday is being operated by the sheriff’s office through a partnership with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program.
