Kanawha deputies say teen arrested in bomb threat at Sissonville High School
SISSONVILLE, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies said a juvenile has been arrested on two counts of making terroristic threats at Sissonville High School.
The arrest stems from a bomb threat at the high school, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department said on its Twitter page.
Deputies said in a news release the juvenile used an app on his cell phone to make a phone call, masking his location and identity, to phone in a bomb threat. Detectives with the sheriff’s office, working with the assigned school resource officer, investigated and linked the calls to the juvenile.
The juvenile is now at the James H. “Tiger" Morton Juvenile Center.
