Four people arrested in string of Huntington robberies
HUNTINGTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Four people are behind bars Tuesday after a number of armed robberies in Huntington.
Those robberies are all unrelated but all of them happened just within the last couple of weeks.
Huntington police say Charles Martin is facing a number of armed robbery charges after police saw him running from the Family Dollar store along 9th Avenue and 10th Street Monday night. They said Martin is connected to a handful of other robberies, three at Speedway, one at RC Carryout and one at Family Dollar. Those incidents go back to October 1. Also, Anna Wilson (picture not shown) is facing charges for being an accessory in four of those robberies.
Matthew Corrigan was taken into custody December 1 and charged in connection to an armed robbery at the Dollar General in the 300 block of Norway Avenue in late November.
And Antonio George was arrested and charged November 25 for an armed robbery at the shell gas station along 800 block of 22nd street a week earlier.
