Police say driver fell asleep and crashed into mattress store
HUNTINGTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Huntington police said a driver fell asleep and crashed into a mattress business early Wednesday morning.
The crash happened about 4 a.m. at the Mattress Warehouse on Route 60 in Huntington.
Police said the driver of a pickup truck was traveling west on Route 60 when he fell asleep, veered off the road and crashed into the business, an employee of the store said.
The store was heavily damaged and will be closed for several days. Dispatchers said the driver was not injured in the crash.
