Deputies say woman facing charges in Cabell County stabbing
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
The Cabell County Sheriff's Department said a woman is facing charges in the stabbing of another woman.
Kimila Hall, 52 of Huntington was charged with malicious wounding, according to criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
It happened about 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 1300 block of Evergreen Circle near Huntington. Deputies said Hall stabbed the victim in the forearm and thigh. Deputies said the victim had puncture wounds and lacerations to her arm and thigh and scratches to her throat and back.
Deputies said when the victim initially called for help she claimed she had fallen. EMS workers observed her wounds and determined she had been stabbed. The victim later admitted she was stabbed.
Hall was taken to the Western Regional Jail and a cash only bond was set at $100,000.
