Department of Education wants public's input on Every Student Succeeds Act
CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
In an effort to get feedback from the public, the West Virginia Department of Education has launched an online survey for people to offer input on its Every Student Succeeds Act plan.
There is a video on the department’s website with an overview of the plan, followed by the survey.
The Department of Education’s plan measures results from statewide annual standardized testing.
West Virginia Department of Education spokeswoman Jessica Hall said the draft won’t be released for public review until August.
West Virginia needs to submit the plan to the federal government in September.
