Business creates dozens of new positions in Huntington
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
A new business announced its plans to expand to downtown Huntington, creating dozens of new jobs.
VA MidSouth Healthcare Network announced the expansion of its coding unit to downtown Huntington Friday. The company was joined by Mayor Steve Williams, U.S. Rep. Evan Jenkins, R-W.Va., and medical professionals.
Developers plan to renovate a Third Avenue building near Pullman Square. About 40 medical coding jobs will be created, and 85 employees will be transferred to the new office once it's complete in the summer. Dr. Joseph Touma is the landlord of the new site and was congratulated by Williams for the development.
