Braxton County 911 OES director turns in resignation
BRAXTON COUNTY, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Braxton 911 OES Director Mike Baker turned in a resignation letter Tuesday, a Braxton County Commission spokeswoman said.
On Wednesday morning, the Braxton County Commission held an emergency meeting to approve his resignation. The commission also appointed current EMS Director Dale Hall to be the interim Office of Emergency Services director. He also will still serve at the EMS director.
The OES 911 Advisory Board will meet soon to determine the hiring process for the new OES director.
No information was available about why Baker resigned. West Virginia State Police said there is no criminal investigation.
