Fugitive Files 11/14/2017
CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Kevin Huffman is wanted for domestic battery and being a prohibited person with a gun. Earlier this month, Charleston police say he got into a fight with his wife, prompting their child to get a neighbor to call police. Police say Huffman has a history of domestic battery and other felony convictions that make it illegal for him to have a gun but say he was armed during the fight. Police say they also found a rifle at the home. Huffman is 6'03", 190 pounds and his last known address is on Delta Drive in Charleston.
State police are trying to find Terry Smith who hasn't registered as a sex offender since 2011. Troopers say he has eight new warrants on top of two still active from 2015. They say he's been on the run for years and has been seen in the Sissonville area living in a green sedan or car and moving between gas well sites. Smith is 6'1", 195 pounds.
James Hammons is wanted for a probation violation on underlying breaking and entering and grand larceny charges. Last year, deputies also say he was caught with two stolen dirt bikes. Hammons is 5'11", 185 pounds and his last known address is on Tyler Ridge Road in Cross Lanes.
