Pork Sausage with Grilled Peaches, Honey and Fresh ThymeFrom chef and author Tyler Florence August 26, 2004 Grilling inside or out, hot new Chef Tyler Florence has a simple, spectacular way to add sausage to your breakfast or brunch on Good Morning America.
IngredientsDirections Preheat a grill or grill pan until hot. Wipe the grates (or the ridges of your pan) with oil to keep the sausage and peaches from sticking. Grill the sausage until brown, about 5 to 7 minutes per side. Remove to a serving platter. Toss the peaches with the olive oil and put the peaches cut side down on the grill. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until the flesh of the peaches softens slightly and caramelizes. Turn the peaches over with tongs and grill the other sides for 3 to 5 minutes to char the skin. Place the peaches on the plate with the sausage, Drizzle the honey over the peaches and sausage, sprinkle with the thyme leaves and give it a few grinds of fresh black pepper.
