Good Morning America's Christmas Cookie Contest drew a monsoon of e-mails, and letters from our viewers with family and original cookie recipes. The recipes ranged from gems that dated back six generations to one cookie recipe that actually had bread crubs in it.Here is one of the finalists Ingredients Directions 1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 2. Add vanilla, orange rind and egg. Mix well. 3. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix until well blended. 4. Drop from teaspoon on un-greased cookie sheet. 5. Bake at 375 F for 10 minutes or until light brown. Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar immediately after removing from oven.
