G. Garvin's Corn BreadFrom chef and author G. Garvin October 18, 2006 If you like tasty comfort food that's easy to make and good for the whole family, Chef G. Garvin, host of the popular cooking show "Turn Up the Heat," has the recipes for you. He made this recipe from his new cookbook, "Turn up the Heat!" on Good Morning America. Ingredients Directions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine corn meal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. 3. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add milk, eggs and oil. Combine all together. Then fold in sour cream. 4. Grease a loaf pan with butter. 5. Fold out batter into pan and bake for 25 minutes to 30 minutes, or until crust is golden and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Recipe Copyright ©2006, Chef G.
