Fifth suspect arrested in West Side home invasion

A fifth person is now in custody in connection with a home invasion of an elderly woman who lives on Charleston's West Side.

Late Friday night police say they arrested 18-year-old Camri White after a chase.

The woman told police the suspects forced their way into her home early Wednesday morning around midnight and stole several items at gunpoint.

So far, police have arrested, Jonathan Pannell, Trevon Means and two other juveniles.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a home invasion on Charleston's West Side.

Police say Jonathan Pannell, 18, of Charleston and a juvenile were arrested after a brief police chase around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Trevon Means and another juvenile were arrested Thursday evening.

Police say the four suspects forced their way into an 84-year-old woman's home and stole several items at gunpoint.

Two people have been arrested in a home invasion on Charleston’s West Side after a chase Thursday night.

Trevon D. Means, 18, of Charleston and a juvenile were taken into custody after a police pursuit near the banks of the Kanawha River. Means appeared for an arraignment Friday in Kanawha County Magistrate Court and is charged with robbery and burglary, according to a criminal complaint filed in magistrate court.

The pursuit happened about 9 p.m. Thursday near Patrick Street and Kanawha Boulevard.

Police in the home invasion incident, an 84-year-old woman said four armed, masked men forced their way into her home.
