Rock music theme for Friday's Live on the Levee
CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
Things will be "rocking" down by the river this weekend when Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee returns with a couple of bands that know how to make the electric guitar scream.
The Mark Miller Band will get things started with some southern rock about 6:30 p.m. Friday on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston.
Mindbender, the headliner for the evening, is set to perform about 7:45 p.m., filling the air with some classic rock tunes.
Hundreds of motorcyclists are expected to be in attendance as the three-day Capitol City Biker Bash will be in full swing on Kanawha Boulevard.
WCHS-TV is the exclusive media partner of Live on the Levee that runs through Labor Day Weekend.
Live on the Levee supports five local charities with a strong emphasis on homelessness. This year's nonprofit partners are Roark Sullivan Lifeway Center, YWCA's Sojourners shelter, Covenant House, Samaritan Inn and Manna Meal.
