Two Charleston-based bands will be cranking up the music Friday for another free evening of music down by the river.

Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee returns with the latest edition of the summer concert series on the Schoenbaum Stage at Haddad Riverfront Park. Hurl Brickbat, a rock and alternative band, is scheduled to get things started at about 6:30 p.m.

Headliner A Story Told, an alternative pop band, begins its performance about 7:30 p.m.

WCHS-TV is the exclusive media partner of Live on the Levee that features free summer concerts every Friday evening through Labor Day.

Live on the Levee supports five local charities with a strong emphasis on homelessness. This year's nonprofit partners are Roark Sullivan Lifeway Center, YWCA's Sojourners shelter, Covenant House, Samaritan Inn and Manna Meal.
