More time to give: Holiday Hope toy drive extended through Sunday, Dec. 18

The Holiday Hope toy drive, an effort by Eyewitness News and Union Mission to give area children across the region something to smile about in this special season, is entering the home stretch. The good news is you have extra time to give.

Friday originally was going to be the last day for the effort, but donations of new, unwrapped toys will still be accepted at 14 collection sites through Sunday, Dec. 18.

Papa John’s is also taking part in the Holiday Hope Toy Drive. Five Papa John's locations in Kanawha City, Patrick Street, St. Albans, Cross Lanes and Teays Valley will donate $1 from each dessert item purchased through the end of the year to the drive.

Toys can be dropped off at the Southridge Walmart.
