Two people are facing charges after leading police on a multi-county pursuit Saturday afternoon.

Timothy Berryman, 41, of Indiana, and Sara McQuilling, 36, of Kentucky, are charged with receiving and transferring stolen property, conspiracy, and fleeing with reckless disregard, according to a release from the Milton Police Department.

On Saturday afternoon, a Milton police officer spotted a stolen Chevy truck on I-64 east just before the Milton exit. When the officer tried to stop the truck, Berryman, who was driving, refused to stop and led police on a pursuit into Putnam County.

After wrecking the truck at the Hurricane exit, Berryman and McQuilling jumped out and tried to run from police, according to the release.

Milton police arrested McQuilling and Hurricane police arrested Berryman near the Sheetz in Hurricane.

Both were treated and released at St. Mary's Medical Center for injuries they sustained in the crash and are now being held in the Western Regional Jail.
