Two arrested in connection with string of robberies in Huntington

Police arrested two men Friday evening in connection to a string of robberies in the Huntington and Kenova areas.

Justin Albert, 31, of Huntington and Kenneth Dean Jr., 39, of Kenova were arrested Friday evening shortly after the Little Caesar’s on 29th Street and Fifth Avenue in Huntington was robbed, according to a news release from the City of Huntington.

Police said Albert and Dean were in involved in at least four recent robberies, including robberies in Kenova at the Clark’s Pump and Shop on Jan. 4 and at Sams Hot Dogs on Piedmont Road on Jan. 5.

Dean is charged with two counts of armed robbery. Albert is charged with armed robbery and two counts of aiding and abetting armed robbery and possession of a controlled substance.

Both are being held in the Western Regional Jail.
