Bill Duke Amos Andrews on Karen Sisco
Bill Duke portrays a smart-talking U.S. Marshal and boss to Karen Sisco in ABC's new one-hour drama series from Jersey Television/Universal Network Television.Distinguished in the industry as an acclaimed director, producer and actor, Duke garnered NAACP Image Award nominations for his directing work on the acclaimed PBS teleplays "The Meeting" and "A Raisin in the Sun," the latter of which also earned an Emmy nomination. He won a Cable Ace Award for the segment he directed of the HBO trilogy, "America's Dream," entitled "The Boy Who Painted Christ Black." He has also directed the television and feature films "Hoodlum," "Deep Cover," "The Cemetery Club," "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit," "A Rage in Harlem" and "The Killing Floor." In front of the camera, Duke most recently starred in "National Security," with Martin Lawrence, and "Red Dragon," starring Anthony Hopkins. Other feature film acting roles include "American Gigolo," opposite Richard Gere, "Predator" and "Commando," opposite Arnold Schwarzeneger, and "Bird on a Wire," opposite Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn. He received an NAACP Image Award for his role in "Action Jackson." On television, he starred on the series "Palmerstown, USA." He has also appeared in the series "Fastlane," "Dallas: The Early Years," "Justice League," "Benson," "Charlie's Angels, "Starsky and Hutch" and "Kojak."
